L’Acadien Yearbook releases its 103 edition in its 110 year history

From Monday, Oct. 17, until Wednesday, Oct. 26, the 2021-2022 L’Acadien Yearbook will be distributed to students at no charge in a variety of places throughout campus. 2022 State of the University

On Aug. 17, 2022, President Joseph Savoie gave the 2022 State of the University address. He spoke on the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s research and enrollment accomplishments, the planning of a new Health Sciences campus, the upgrading of the New Iberia Research Center and a new engineering building and renovations to Madison Hall. 2020 L’Acadien yearbook earns first-place national award

In January, UL Lafayette’s L’Acadien yearbook earned a first-place award from the American Scholastic Press Association in New York. Competing against universities from across the country, the 2020 L’Acadien yearbook, entitled Focus, tied with Michigan State’s yearbook for a first-place finish. UL Lafayette Receives Carnegie R1 designation

While the new year brought back some of the same challenges regarding the COVID-19 virus, it also brought tremendous news for the entire UL Lafayette community. The University of Louisiana at Lafayette has achieved the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Learning’s prestigious R1 designation.
